The Intervale Community Farm works with local food producers to offer more local food choices their products to the farm membership. Farm members can purchase a season’s worth of eggs, goat cheese, and bread, and pick up these items weekly along with their CSA share. These products and others from local meat and maple producers are also available for sale at each pick up.

Bread
Gerard’s Bread is a naturally leavened country French loaf, hearth-baked in Westford from primarily organic ingredients. An ICF favorite since 1995, Gerard’s is available primarily reserved by the share. Limited supply.
Bread and Butter Farm’s whole-grain, naturally-leavened bread is available by the share and by the loaf. Loaves alternate between Three Seed Rye and Farm Bread, both naturally-leavened German-style hearth-baked breads, made from regional organic grains and flours. Good Companion Bakery is new to ICF in 2011, and their bread will be available at pick-ups on Thursdays. Good Companion Bakery is located outside of Vergennes and bakes a variety of wood-fired European hearth loaves, which will be available through bread shares and per loaf sale. Loaves will rotate through a four week cycle of Five Grain, Hearty European Rye, Miche, and Roasted Potato. Learn more at www.goodcompanionbakery.com.
Goat Cheese
Certified-organic goat cheeses from Does’ Leap Farm in East Fairfield will be available on a share basis. Does’ Leap provides ICF members with a rotating selection of several fresh and aged goat cheeses: chevre, feta, caprella (camembert family soft cheese), and trappist (nutty, washed-rind, firm cheese) More info at www.doesleap.com

Maple Syrup
