We are fortunate to farm in a state where farming and eating well are values close to the hearts and minds of many. There are several organizations around Vermont that work with each other and the public to increase access to local and organic produce, talk with legislators about food and farming policy, provide resources and coaching to new farmers, and share what they’ve learned with farmers and leaders in other states.
Links to many of these food partners are available through the Northeast Organic Farming Association (NOFA) – Vermont, a nonprofit association of farmers, gardeners, and consumers working to promote an economically viable and ecologically sound Vermont food system for the benefit of current and future generations.
