You say Tomato, I say LOTS of tomatoes

Agriculture always has that feast or famine potential, and this year fits that pattern.  Saturday we harvested 69 trays of tomatoes, filling the last of our tomato trays (save

three), and approaching the 4000 tomato mark for Monday's pickup.  Pending sorting and grading, we'll probably end up around 13 tomatoes for small shares and more for others accordingly. We are happy and excited about our bumper crop, though numbers will moderate within two weeks.  We expect we won't be able to move them fast enough at pickup, so those of you interested in preserving tomatoes, you can buy extras from us in 20 lb increments for $25.  Let us know at the farm, or email andy@intervalecommunityfarm.com.  They'll be available starting Tuesday 8/2.
