Goat cheese, Bread, and Meat
The Intervale Community Farm works with other local food producers to offer their products to the farm membership. Farm members can purchase a season’s worth of bread, eggs or goat cheese, and pick up these items weekly along with their CSA vegetable share. These products are also available in limited quantities for sale at each pick-up.
This year’s partner producers are:
Goat Cheese
Certified-organic goat cheeses from Does’ Leap Farm in East Fairfield. Since 2000, Does’ Leap has provided ICF members a rotating selection of several fresh goat cheeses: chevre, feta, caprella (camembert family soft cheese.) Summer shares may be ordered in advance, $168 for 21 pick-ups or every other week (11 pick-ups) for $88. Winter shares are every other week, 13 pick-ups. Single pieces, when available, are also $8.
Eggs
We are searching for a local egg producer and will let you know if we are able to offer eggs again.
Bread
Trent’s Bread is a non-organic, wood-fired, French country levain bread of wheat flour, water, rye berries, and sea salt. Winter shares may be ordered in advance, $56 for 7 pick-ups. We don’t know which 6 weeks we’ll miss yet; anyone pre-ordering will be notified. Single loaves, when available, are $8.
Meat
Maple Wind Farm is pleased to continue bringing our pasture raised meats to the ICF community making a convenient stop to get local meats with your organic vegetable pickup.
Products are available by pre-order through our website. Select ICF Thursday as the “Pickup in Store” option during checkout.
VERY IMPORTANT: In winter, we will deliver to ICF the soonest Thursday after we receive your order, so please be sure to place an order during your ICF pickup week. ICF does not have space to hold your order to the next week. Alternatively, you can add a note at checkout indicating your desired pickup date on a future Thursday. Any orders not picked up on delivery day will be donated to ICF staff and cannot be credited.
Pickup is self-serve from the coolers at ICF.
