Despite the disruptions these past two summers, ICF has emerged from the flooding strong and looking to the future:
Even with crop losses, we provided a 2024 summer share value 15% above comparable retail prices. Below our goal, but significantly better than summer 2023. We have an amazing bounty in store for 2025!
In May we’ll begin building two more greenhouses on our least flood-prone land, which will allow us to protect additional key crops from flooding.
We’ve agreed to lease several acres of non-flooding land from another organic farm for us to grow a few long-season crops like onions, potatoes, and winter squash that are particularly challenging to replace when lost to summer disasters.
Your commitment to ICF has kept us growing healthy food for the local community for 35 years since 1990. Consider these ways to help us keep growing for the future:
Sign up for our 2025 summer share! Intervale Community Farm exists to serve you and we rely on your continued patronage.
ICF’s Supported Share 35% discount for qualifying lower-income households is also available. Sign up and/or request more information on our sign-up form.
Participate in our share slide-up program that helps build farmer financial security. If you are able, adding 10% or 20% to your share improves wages for our seasonal staff and still leaves you saving money compared to comparable retail prices.
Join as an ICF Co-op Member-Owner. Reserve your CSA share permanently, and enjoy other rights and benefits.
